Hi, my name is Samantha and I am a creative, hard working and active 23 year old living in Prospect Heights. Since becoming a black belt in Goju karate in 2013, there has not been a time I have not worked with children. Throughout high school I was a childrens martial arts instructor, spent summers teaching children in Chinese orphanages English, and in college I tutored and babysat children in local neighborhoods. I currently now work for Brooklyn Children’s Museum after graduating from Bard College in 2023. I think something unique about me is that I have worked with children under various environments and circumstances such the Children’s Museum, Dojo, and tutoring and babysitting leaving me with immense experience. I am CPR and First Aid Certified, covid vaxxed + boosted and proficient in Spanish as well as American Sign Language.
