Hey there! I’m a trained horticulturalist and work seasonally in NYC public schools to build gardens for kids and teach them cooking and gardening. I love plants, but I love them more when I can steward them to pass on an experience to the next generation. Kids are what drive me in this field; I’m so grateful I get to garden for and with them all season, and I am always looking for ways to continue working with kids in the “off” season. I have nannied, babysat, and taught kids at Brooklyn Botanic Garden in the winters. I also I spend my personal time in the colder months at the climbing gym, library, museums, art classes, and trekking to new neighborhoods to explore food. I love being a nanny to families that encourage me spending time with their kids introducing them to new hobbies and cultural institutions in the city, while also supporting their existing interests. I bring 7 years of mixed experience summer camp counseling, tutoring, babysitting, nannying, and k-8 teaching working with kids as young as 6 months old to 14 years old.
