My name is Thalia Thomas, I am 28 years old and have been babysitting all over New York for about 10 years now. I have developed a deep passion for working with children, which began in my own family as I helped care for my many younger siblings coming up. This early exposure to childcare laid the foundation for my journey in this field. My experience extends beyond babysitting, as I have also worked in summer camps, daycares, and as a tutor during my undergraduate years at CUNY Queens College. Additionally, I have 5 years of experience working at a YAI group home and day program for youth and young adults with disabilities, which has helped me hone my communication and problem-solving skills.

I currently work part time for a family with two lovely children, boy and girl, ages 8 and 11, located in Larchmont, NY. I have been working with them going on 3 years now through many changes, including a huge move from the UWS of Manhattan to Larchmont.

Outside of babysitting and nannying, I am a licensed nail technician. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a quality I bring to my childcare work as well. The flexibility of working in childcare allows me to balance my professional commitments, and I find great joy in both of these roles. I am dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children I care for and look forward to the opportunity to work with your family.

Rate: $24/hour – $27/hour
