Write a messageI’ve been in the childcare industry for 6 years, I started at 18 as a YMCA counselor in my hometown Park Slope! I now work as a paraprofessional for the Department of Education. I LOVE my job. It’s a gift to make a difference in the next generation’s life. My previous assignments have been working with students diagnosed with ADHD, autism, dyslexia. During my time as a paraprofessional, I have been trained in Crisis Prevention which I have found to be one of the most helpful tools In my career. Aside from my work as a paraprofessional, I taught quickstart tennis for about three years until it unfortunately overlapped with my work schedule. When I’m not working with kids I work out and cook!
