Hi, I’m Yumnah! I adore working with children because they’re incredibly creative, curious, and full of surprises. Their enthusiasm for learning and exploring the world is contagious, and being a part of their growth and development is truly rewarding. My background in childhood education and psychology has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to understand and support children in their unique journeys. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with children in various settings. My time as an after-school/summer camp counselor provided me with the opportunity to engage with children in a fun and educational environment. I created age-appropriate curricula, assisted with homework, and fostered a positive learning environment through activities that promoted cultural awareness and appreciation. As a registered behavior technician, I worked closely with children diagnosed with Autism, implementing behavior intervention plans and collaborating with a team to support their progress. This role has honed my skills in behavior management, and communication. I’m dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to be their authentic selves.

Rate: $23/hour – $28/hour
