My name is Rachel and Im from Ireland. I have worked in preschools, with children aged 6 months to 6 years old for 9 years. I then worked myself up to management but still worked with the children.
I worked in a setting called The Learning Circle for 8 years and Tots & Co for 1 year before moving to New York. I specialize in special needs and have years of experience being a one on one preschool teacher for children with special needs.
I also have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Care and Education.
When I moved to New York two years ago, I was a teachers aide in an elementary school for a year and then worked as a substitute teacher for one year. Children bring me the upmost joy in life and I can confidently say that I am good at what I do. I respect and believe that each child is an individual and therefore is treated as an individual, my skills include patience, understanding, creativity, compassion and kindness.
I currently have a little boy myself, Tadhg Joseph, who is 6 months old. I would have to bring him with me to whatever jobs I may get, I hope that this is okay. As stated, I have years experience working with multiple children and I can guarantee that I will give all children equal attention and caring!
In all my jobs, cameras have always been in the rooms so I am completely fine if there is a camera set up to check in on your little ones!
I have a US passport and can work in US no problem.
