I am a supportive, empathetic, and persistent professional bringing 7+ years of experience in restorative youth programming and community organizing in Chicagoland communities. My experience within restorative justice has allowed me the ability to have patience accessing the needs of individuals and their families and actively being committed to meeting those needs.

I am a full time student pursuing law and sociology soon to graduate. Within my 7+ years of experience working with youth, I know firsthand the vital role being a caretaker, babysitter, and mentor plays within the lives of youth. As someone that benefited from having positive babysitters and mentors in my life and seeing the positive contribution it made to my family dynamic, I know just how important this role is and how needed it is. While I am a student, I am also fully active in youth ministry of SLAM providing teenage youth mentorship across Chicago. I am an auntie with two nieces and two nephews that I love deeply. I come from a pretty big family so I naturally carry a lot of energy and I am drawn to creating fun and safe environments for youth.

I have worked with youth of all different backgrounds and I have been able to establish trust and meet their individuals needs. I am invested in building relationships with youth and their families and creating safe spaces for youth to fully be themselves, receive encouragement, and have support in the areas they may need while also contributing support to parents.

My passion is serving youth and their families in any way they may need. I’d love to connect with families that may need support and learn what are some of the areas support may be needed that I can come alongside and offer.

Rate: $17/hour – $25/hour
