I have over six years of experience as a nanny, in addition to several years of experience as an aid to children with disabilities. My undergraduate minor was in Psychology, I have completed Mental Health First Aid training, and I currently study social and emotional skills and behavior in youth at Rush University. As a nanny, Ive worked with children from 14 months to 12 years. Across my experiences as a nanny and an aid, Ive worked with children with anxiety, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, eating disorder tendencies, and physical limitations (e.g., spina bifida). I enjoy art, science, history, music, and stories in any format. I love bringing surprise activities for kids (e.g., balloon animals, science experiments, art projects), and Im comfortable with overseeing outings and play dates.
