Hello! My name is Beckie, and I have experience working with kids since high school. I would occasionally babysit, and worked as a camp counselor during summer vacations. During college, I minored in developmental psychology, and worked between classes as a one-on-one and classroom aide for several elementary school children with special needs. I was also a summer preschool assistant for children who needed to build their social and behavioral skills in a fun, relaxed environment. Most recently, I worked at a farm preschool introducing the kids to animal care, assisting with pony rides, cooking activities, and gardening. Though diverse, at the center of each of these jobs was the childrens well-being and happiness, as well as a focus of learning through play and social activities.
