I am currently a Junior at the University of Michigan where I study biological, cognitive, and neurological psychology and am preparing for post graduate Master of Nursing. I grew up in Lincoln Park and have been babysitting for families in the surrounding neighborhoods for over six years. For the past four years, I have worked as a counselor at an eight week overnight summer camp, including one year as Head counselor and one as Senior counselor. My responsibiities included coordinating camp wide activities while implementing a safe and exciting environment for over 300 campers. I was also directly responsible for the physical and emotional welfare of over 30 girls in my cabin. I served as Head of the water skiing program where I managed a 16 member water skiing staff and oversaw related waterfront risk and safety concerns. I am currently a Certified Red Cross Lifeguard with Certified AED and First Aid Training. I play competitive club soccer and flag football. My hobbies also include water skiing, snow skiing and reading.
