My name is Devyn. I am currently working as a paraprofessional at a special needs school for autistic children. I provide my students with the help they need to remain on task through schedules, visuals, or directives. I help assist with academic work, and provide students with coping skills, sensory tools and or breaks to help regulate their body to be successful throughout the school day. I enjoy working with children and have also nannied for two families and worked at the Chicago park district as a recreational leader which required me to plan and implement extra curricular activities such as sports, art and crafts, team building activities, and other events during summer camp. I love to spend my time playing sports, learning something new, and spending time with my family. I would describe myself as very caring, reliable, responsible, and diligent.
