Hi my name is Felicia Diaz. I have spent the past five years working with children of all ages. While I was in college I started working at a summer day care that is run by St. Constance Parish. The camp is broken up into different age groups, and each staff member is assigned a group of their own for the entire season. We learn how to provide care for each individual child, but at the same time how to supervise multiple kids at once. As a staff member I led my group through several athletic activities, arts and crafts, field trips, and meal times. I have worked with all the age groups ranging from toddler and pre-school to preteen. Along with my experience working at the camp, I spent the last two years teaching art classes for an organization called Young Rembrandts. The program offers after school classes that are run at both public and private schools. Teaching art I worked with children from the ages of 4 to 12. I have had Virtus training which with completion comes with a certificate that deems you able to work with children in a Catholic school setting. I have also received background checks carried out by the Archdiocese of Chicago every year in order to work for the summer camp and Young Rembrandts. In addition, I have also received my CPR and AED certification.

Rate: $12/hour – $15/hour
