Hello! My name is Mary and I would love the opportunity to care for your little ones! I have cared for kiddos from 6 months to 9 years old as an occasional sitter, a full-time nanny, nursery assistant, and early morning/commuting support to school as well as caring for my own twin nieces and nephew. I am an actor and musician by trade so I am big on imaginative play, music making, singing, dancing, and all around nurturing kids innate sense of play. I grew up in Colorado as an avid outdoorsman, so I like to ensure the kids in my care get ample time to play and explore safely outside, to learn about nature sciences and the importance of moving our bodies daily!
I enjoy cooking (usually with veggies from my community garden!) and baking, and am up for the household tasks that come with caring for little humans – cooking, laundry, keeping things tidy and other light cleaning.
I love cats and dogs and would gladly work in a house either or both.
As for my professional background, I hold a Bachelor’s degree and work full-time as a Paralegal — so I should be pretty alright with any homework help!
I was most recently certified in Infant and Adult CPR/First Aid in 2018 and am in the process of re-certifying.
