Hi! My name is Michal and I can’t wait to work with your family! I have been involved in child care since I was in middle school, and my experiences have been diverse across ages, types of positions, and length of employment. During my time in grade school, I consistently babysat for multiple families with kids of all ages in my community during the evening hours. During the summers, I organized and ran a day camp for groups of 4-6 year-olds.. In college, while living in Manhattan I worked part-time nannying positions with pre-teens. My responsibilities were vast and involved ensuring the children’s safety as they came off the bus from school, helping with the completion of homework, serving dinner and most importantly having fun! In 2020 while I was attending college classes virtually, I became a full time live-in nanny for my 4 year-old niece. Since moving to Chicago 2 years ago, I have been babysitting for two families with children whose ages range from 2-8 years old. These positions have been during the day, so my main responsibilities have been keeping the children engaged, fulfilled, and busy. Recently, I worked as a full time nanny for 2 weeks watching a 1.5 and 5 year-old at a sleep-away camp where their parents worked. Additionally, I have an up-to-date CPR certification and I am a trained EMT in the process of renewing my license. I genuinely love spending my time with kids!
