I was born in Regensburg, Germany and German is my native language. I have 15+ years of childcare experience, which includes being a Nanny for several families for many years, working at preschools and daycares, being an Art teacher at the German Intnl. School of Chicago (k-8), tutoring, and being a summer camp counselor at the French school. I love being a caretaker for so many reasons! For one, being nurturing and taking care of children has always come natural to me, I am an Artist and getting kids excited about creative art projects is just so much fun, and seeing the faces of parents coming home to their clean home and happy kiddos makes me feel accomplished and fulfilled. I have worked with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I love all types of pets, and Im more then happy to help out with your fur babies, as well as cook (Im super aware and mindful about allergies and intolerances), and tend to any chores needing to be done around your home! I feel comfortable and confident in taking care of more than one child at a time (as I used to take care of about 22 kiddos at a time in my classroom!).
