Hello! I’ll start out with the academic details. I have a B.S in Education with a 6-9 Montessori Credential from Xavier University as well a 3-6 training from the Montessori Center of the Rockies. I have two years of Master classes in Special Education from Xavier but started a family and didn’t complete my Master’s thesis. I know, I know…time to get the Masters completed. I was a babywearing educator for six years plus have enjoyed numerous volunteer positions within different organizations over the years. But my greatest accomplishments are my three children.
I believe in providing the best care for the child(ren) and family I have the pleasure to work with. Every family is different with regards to their routines, expectations, family culture, and structure and I honor these. As I care provider, I’m an exceptional listener and communicator, compassionate, reliable, very patient, fun, enthusiastic and calming. Grab a box of chalk, head outside and color; sing songs for hours on end; go on a hike; head to the park, zoo or museum; curl up in the rocking chair and read books endlessly; or just enjoy some quiet time….whatever your child needs I’m present and prepared. I’m fascinated with child/human development typical and atypical and respect the child as they are.
