Hello! My name is Vicky and I am a second year college student. For my last two years of high school, I was selected to be a part of a career block program known as Early Childhood Education (ECE) where I began learning about child development, professionalism within the classroom, and creating curriculum for children. While taking this course, I would have several days within the week where I visited a classroom to help aid in teaching. I was in classes from preschool through middle school where I assisted the teachers with the class schedule. I was also teaching at a swimming school for over a year where I taught children from the ages of four months to ten years old. I am majoring in art/art education and plan on working with children in the future. I love working with kids and I especially love incorporating art and creativity while I spend time with them. I can plan out fun activities such as crafts and I enjoy the outdoors so I plan to take outdoor trips to parks if the family is willing. I am CPR certified and have been driving for two years without ever getting a speeding ticket. Although I have not been a babysitter before, I believe I can take on the challenge and help provide care for families!
