Hello, my name is Timia, and I’m writing to apply for the Babysitter position with your family. I have seven years of experience working with children, including jobs at summer camps and child care centers. I’ve been babysitting regularly for the last two years. My experience combined with my CPR and first aid certification makes me a great candidate for your new Babysitter.

My most recent Babysitter position was with a family of seven whose children ranged from ages 3 to 11. I’m sure you can imagine the constant commotion involved in caring for five children, but it’s the kind of challenge I find fun and exciting. Five days a week, I helped the older kids get ready for/and to school and then stayed with the younger children until their parents got home from work.

During the day, the younger children and I would do arts and crafts, enjoy educational activities, play games, and have a healthy home-cooked lunch. I was also available to care for the older children when they stayed home sick from school or to babysit on weekends and nights when the parents wanted a date night. My clients have often expressed appreciation for my adaptability, enthusiasm and ability to handle any type of situation.

Since my most recent clients moved out of town, I currently have a very flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.I can usually start as early as 7 a.m. and can stay until about 10 p.m..
