Hi, my name is Lauren. I am currently a sophomore at Ashland University, studying Early Childhood Development & Education! As of 2013, I am a certified Red Cross Babysitter and have been caring for children since I was 15 years old when I got my first two babysitting gigs for kids around the neighborhood. Ive always loved children, as I used to help my mother out when my two younger brothers were in the baby/toddler stage when I was only eight years old. Over the past few years I have worked in two daycares: both where I cared for children from six weeks to four years old. I have been working part-time in a two-year-old daycare classroom for the past nine months and I love it. I absolutely adore taking care of the little ones, the experiences from work & babysitting are great, and I hope to someday be a preschool or kindergarten teacher! In my free-time I love playing my musical instruments, writing poetry/stories, going on bike-rides, baking goodies, and drawing/doodling aimlessly.
