My name is Laura, I’m 28 years old and I’m looking for a full time, long term family to devote myself to while I finish my degree. I’m currently in school online getting my degree in primary education, with hopes of finishing in the next 2 years. Childcare has always been my passion; I started babysitting when I was a teenager in my neighborhood! Becoming an Aunt really opened my eyes to learning how to care for child from newborn to teenager. With my nephew being autistic; I’ve learned patience, acquired skills needed to help him in daily tasks and gained a different perspective on childcare. I’ve been a preschool teacher since 2019; I was the lead teacher for the toddlers! I was also a teacher in the infant room, watching 4 beautiful babies! From feeding, wake windows, tummy time, teaching motor skills, etc – I’ve done it all in a nurturing environment. I’m looking to transition to a home setting so that I can work one on one with a family and hopefully provide an educating and loving space for the child in their home so they can grow fundamentally. I have all my clearances, I’m CPR/first aid certified, I have experience with children with disabilities and I have my own transportation. Non-smoker, reliable nanny looking to start as soon as possible!
