My journey in childcare began as an After School Program Tutor, where I had the privilege of working with children aged 6-12. Their boundless curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm were a constant source of inspiration for me. It was incredibly rewarding to be a part of their growth and development, guiding them to explore, learn, and develop their unique personalities. This experience solidified my commitment to making a meaningful impact on children’s lives, and their joy and laughter have always brought immense satisfaction to my work.

During my time as an Assistant Teacher at Queens Community House’s Summer Rising program at JHS 190, it allowed me to enhance my skills in creating a supportive and encouraging environment, which is crucial for a child’s growth and development. This role honed my ability to create a positive and nurturing environment, essential for fostering a child’s development. Additionally, my babysitting experience with the Darilag Family provided me with hands-on experience in caring for younger children, emphasizing the importance of routine and care in a child’s life.
