Hi all!

My name is Ellery and I’m a current freshman studying Environmental Studies at the University of Washington-Seattle. I have a strong passion for the outdoors and education and have always loved being around kids. I first discovered this passion during a service trip I took to Belize in 2019, where I was tasked with teaching children aged 7-13 subjects like basic math and science. When I got back home, I wanted to expand upon this type of work and decided to hold a camp for neighborhood kids at my family’s summer home in Minnesota. The camps lasted about three summers and hold some of my fondest memories. Aside from these experiences, I’ve had small babysitting jobs here and there watching kids ranging in age 6-14. I’m also certified in standard CPR/AED.
