Hey there families!

My name is Mantra, and I am a current senior at Northwestern University in Evanston. I am also a part-time teaching artist at Chicago Children’s Theatre, teaching music and drama to all ages, from the toddlers in my Story Sprouts class to the angsty high-schoolers in our comedy camps – I love working with all ages! My love for teaching and working with kids started when I became a private piano tutor at Sheela Symphony school. It grew even more when I was an AuPair in Ibiza, Spain for a while, taking care of a 6 and 10 year old while teaching them English in creative and artistic ways that engaged them beyond traditional classroom techniques. I also used to babysit regularly for a family last summer and found that I really enjoyed that too!
So that is why I am on here. I’d love to earn some extra money while flexing my teaching and childcare abilities – and I love dogs/cats so bring it on!
