Sasha B.

Hi my name is Sasha Benson! I’m from Los Angeles, CA and am a junior at Northwestern University. I was a consistent babysitter for about three years during my freshman-junior year of high school and paused during the pandemic. During this time I babysat a young boy weekly starting at age 3. I prepared meals, set aside playtime, took him to the park and other outdoor activities as well as prepared child for bed (including bath and reading to sleep). I also babysat tweens (ages 9-13) and found engaging activities for them to do as well as provide homework help whenever needed. I enjoy children because I learn so much from them and each child has their own unique traits and special skills :). I am currently in Evanston this summer continuing public health research with the Emerging Scholars research program!
I am studying Global Health and Social Policy! I strive to work in the field of public health with a focus on PH administration and policy. I aim to get my Masters of Public Health after my time at Northwestern.
