Im a 22 year old student at the University of Pittsburgh, finishing up my Bachelors in Applied Developmental Psychology in 2024! I am currently looking for babysitting/nannying jobs for the upcoming school year that would work around my classes. Im extremely passionate about working with and caring for children, and I always have been. I started babysitting for various ages in high school, and have worked at three daycares where I have cared for children ages 0-6. I have a very gentle and understanding approach with children, and I strongly believe in the importance of social emotional learning. My goal for the children I work with is for them to become emotionally intelligent little people, able to talk about their feelings, understand the feelings of others, and resolve conflicts! I believe that children deserve, and really crave respect and honoring from the adults that care for them! I think that the best way to earn respect from a child is not through establishing power, but through showing them that same respect for them and their developing emotions! Im also a lover of nature, animals, and books! I absolutely adore reading picture books with children because I remember how much I used to love it! I am also First Aid/CPR certified, and have all my childcare clearances for PA. I hope you consider me when on your search for the perfect sitter! :)
