Hi there! My name is Favour, or Fav for short. My hometown is Crown Point. I’m a second-year biology major at Purdue Northwest Hammond Campus (I reside on campus), and I plan to pursue physical therapy as my graduate program. I’ve been looking after kids for over nine years. As the oldest sister, I began by keeping an eye on and tending to my younger brothers. I’ve spent my entire life around kidsneighbors, family members, churchgoers, etc.which has led me to have a deep affection for them. I also taught the children’s department at my church as a volunteer because I adore children and enjoy taking care of, supporting, and loving them. Being silly with kids is one of my favorite things to do, and I truly enjoy life. I enjoy playing, being active, reading, using our imaginations, creative play, and having fun with kids. A lot of my favorite childhood games include “I spy,” “Marco Polo,” “tag,” and peek-a-boo! In addition, I love asking kids why and how things happen, pushing their knowledge and comprehension, and generally having fun while doing all of these things. Every child has such amazing potential, in my opinion, and I really like getting to know them all as unique individuals and meeting their needs. I’m available full- or part-time. I’m eager to get to know the next family I work with.
