Hi my name is Jocelyn! Im an 18 year old high school graduate from Deer Park high school seeking to pursue an education in teaching. Ive always loved working with children, even since I was a child! Thats why I have decided to become a teacher. Ive worked with kids of all ages from newborns to high school. I volunteered at church to take care of toddlers and newborns while their parents were in service. A couple summers ago, I also led a group of 4th grade girls girls for summer camp. More recently, I led a group for high school girls bible study. A little over a year ago I received my CPR certification through health classes I took at school. At my most recent job I was hired on as the nurses assistant at Fairmont Elementary but also worked in the library & classrooms to be a student aide to the teachers. As the oldest of my cousins, I was the one who would take care of the younger ones while my aunts and uncles either worked or just had a date night. I hope after reading my profile or meeting me youll be able to see my genuine heart for children. :~)
