I have a ton of experiencing of looking after children. For many years, I worked as both a lifeguard and swim instructor. In these positions, I learned how to work with children and maintain a safe environment. I am also Red Cross certified in case of any health or safety emergency that may arise. While I have this professional experience working with kids, I just personally love babysitting. As a teenager, I would often help out in my church’s nursery and look after the children. This would lead to many baby sitting gigs for church members and their friends. My favorite part of babysitting is cooking for kids. If parents are comfortable with it, I love getting the kids involved in the kitchen. Ultimately, I am a great babysitter because I can provide the balance of connecting with kids while also maintaining a safe environment for them.
