Hello, I’m Jada, but I’d love for you to call me Paris! I’m genuinely excited about the possibility of joining your family as a sitter. With six years of caregiving and babysitting experience, I’m passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. My inherent patience, empathy, and compassionate nature enable me to connect with children on a profound level and cater to their needs. I’ve been fortunate to serve as an educator at my church’s vacation bible school, where I cared for children ranging from 4 to 16 years old. Additionally, I’ve aided multiple families within my church and local community, helping with meal preparation and bedtime routines. Currently, I work as an in-school tutor and mentor in an opportunity-challenged Philadelphia K-8 public school. In this role, I engage students in educational and enjoyable activities while providing guidance to redirect any disruptive behavior within the classroom. My utmost priority is safety, and I hold certifications in CPR and first aid, giving you peace of mind that I can respond effectively in emergencies. Furthermore, I’ve successfully obtained child abuse clearances at both the federal and local levels, due to my commitment to the well-being and security of the children under my care. I maintain transparent and open communication with both children and their parents, providing regular updates on their child’s activities, moods, and any concerns that may arise. When caring for children, I embrace the positive discipline approach.
