My name is Jahne Jones, I am 20 years old and have been babysitting for the past 7 years. My passion for child care started around the age of 13 when I volunteered to my church’s children’s ministry. I assisted the head teachers, taught lessons, and engaged the children in the activities, ages between 1 and 10. I have several experiences watching between 1 and 5 children at a time. I began to babysit for multiple family friends and expanded my services based on references. Over time the children I looked after have now grown up. I can truthfully say that I genuinely enjoy being around kids and with the time I have on my hands, I think this is a great opportunity to start back sitting. I get a natural feel good feeling when babysitting, knowing that I am able to be a reliable assistance to the family and enjoy the work that I do as well. I would say my biggest strength is that I am very patient and understanding. I have been employed at safari land, an indoor amusement park, and a coach for baseball and soccer classes ages between 4 and 6. In high school I was on the varsity cheer and track team, and also ran track and cross country in college. My most recent babysitting I watch over a girl age of 7 and boy age of 6. I also have experience in dog sitting and house sitting for the family as well. My personally hobbies include working out, cooking, coloring, cleaning and running. My schedule is completely open and available. I am fully vaccinated and have a valid drivers license. I can provide liable references from several families as well. Children are the future. It’s a personal accomplishment to me being able to influence, teach and leave a positive impact in a child’s life.
