Hi There! My name is Katie Werner and I just moved to LA/Santa Monica area from San Jose,CA.

I am looking for an occasional babysitting job because I am currently working for a fantastic family in Brentwood during the week m-f 2-8ish (varies). I am able to work any morning to early afternoon before my other gig as well (6am-2pm).

I am an online communications student through Ashford U and moved to LA for new experiences and to live with my loving boyfriend. I became a caregiver when I was really young. I am the youngest of three girls and always babysat for neighbors and family friends. In the last few years, my older sisters had kids and I have the pleasure of babysitting them whenever I can. They are 3 yr old and 2. In San Jose, I regularly took care of two kids (10yr old and 13yr old boy). I worked really well with them because I communicated with them like I would anyone else and really showed them that I am on their team and there to help with homework/ life skills. My experiences with babysitting and nannying also are with working with kids that are on the autism spectrum and I feel like I have great patience and a gift to work all types of personalities.I love hanging out and being with kids because they make the joys in life very apparent and they live in the moment, which then makes us realize the important things in life.
