Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile and considering me for the position of watching your child, I know its a really big decision to make and Ill do my best in this bio to give you a snapshot of what qualifies me!

I have over 10 years of paid experience in childcare, from being a full-time nanny to part-time, as well as babysitting and experience as a mothers helper.

Over my years of experience with children Ive learned that being patient and nurturing is the first priority and it comes naturally to me and I love children, they feel safe and at ease with me and the parents trust me, which is huge. Ive also got all the positive energy and attentiveness needed for the little ones to really have fun and keep their minds learning and growing! Lastly, being responsible is key – to always make sure theyre getting the nutrition they need, that when they play its safely but still adventurous, and always in line with how the parents would want.

I have been certified in First Aid and CPR, as well as taking many courses in childhood development. I know how important it is to have a background that is competent to meet all needs/scenarios that may arise. I will say however I have never needed to use my First Aid or CPR training and dont plan to ever need to – I think its a caretakers responsibility to be attentive and structure each moment to be meeting the standards of safety. I understand that accidents can occur but.. not on my watch! Ive always felt very strongly about parents coming home to their children who only have smiles and good stories to share. My courses in childhood development are helpful everyday though just in communicating with children and doing activities suited for their age/stage of life!
