As a parent of a grown son and teenage daughter, my background in childcare is extensive and diverse. After obtaining my degree from Baldwin-Wallace University, I gained experience at a local childcare center in various roles, from assisting in the infant room to supporting the afterschool program. Through caring for my own children with allergies and special needs, I conducted extensive research on health, wellness, and nutrition. I have expertise in preparing meals for children with food allergies while maintaining a safe environment. I also have a deep understanding of sensory processing differences. I am currently working as a contractor which affords me a flexible schedule. I have recently served as a substitute in the Lakewood City School District, overseeing lunchroom and playground activities. I completed all trainings and background checks associated with school employees. My strengths lie in providing support to parents by assisting with childcare and household duties, including childcare, shopping, meal preparation and cleaning tasks.
