Hello, my name is Shauna and I’m currently a high-school substitute teacher. As a substitute, I spend most of my days educating teens so I am no stranger to interacting and helping children, including special needs kids. As the school year is winding down I am looking for part time work for the summer. I would greatly prefer to have most evenings and weekends off, but I am flexible and I would be willing to work something out if needed. At this time I don’t have CPR/First aid training but I would be more than willing to get those certifications. As far as formal experiences, I was a babysitter as a teenager, and I have gotten hands-on experience taking care of young children in highschool and college childcare courses.

I’d like to add that I have my own car with a clean driving record. I am an extremely reliable, friendly, and caring person. I also do not smoke, or do drugs. I am very comfortable around pets. and I don’t mind helping out with some light housekeeping while babysitting.
