I am one of 8 children, and being the third oldest I would always take care of my younger siblings and watch them when our parents would go out, or after school sometimes. It just came naturally because of growing up with them, taking care of them was always important to me, but I also loved being able to help them or teach them. I always just loved nurturing and caring for kids. I have experience as well with my younger cousins, my niece from when she was born to now being 2 years old, and about 3 years of paid babysitting for my family friend’s son when he was just a toddler. I have a lot of customer service skills with my past jobs and being social in general (from growing up in a household of 9). I also believe that my family has shaped me to have a lot of patience especially for children, and being a good listener. I have been driving for 7 years and would feel comfortable with driving short distances with children. I love to cook also so I am definitely willing to help with meal prepping or baking for fun with children. I have played sports my whole life and love being active and being outdoors. I also love arts and crafts, painting, drawing, and music, I’m learning how to play guitar and piano. I am also a Catholic and love my faith!
