Hello! I am a 65 yr. old woman, recently retired with some time to share.
I am a volunteer with the National Park Service, and spend several months each year in different parks working with visitors, hiking and giving tours. I am the proud parent of two adults- 33 and 26 both on their own life journeys. I really enjoy being with children—in addition to running the junior ranger programs in the parks I volunteer with, I led a Girl Scout troop for 12 years—helped 4 of them achieve Gold Awards(highest award in GSA) and more importantly-was privileged to watch them become the outstanding women they are today! I have an easygoing attitude – but not overly permissive. I will respect your parenting techniques and work within your established guidelines. I LOVE the outdoors and if that type of activity works with your lifestyle and preference, GREAT!!
