I’ve been caring for children since 2002 when I started babysitting as an 8th grader. I have been a summer nanny, daycare assistant teacher, ccd teacher, and Aunt to all of my friends kids. If that isn’t enough training I also have been a full time step mom for 11 years since my step son was 1. I was a stay at home mom more than once over the last 11 years. As far as certifications go I don’t have any legally. I was CPR certified at one time but I didn’t renew it. I have never personally watched someone with intellectual or developmental disabilities but have had experience being in their classrooms as a volunteer in high school and over the summer in high school I was a student teacher assistant in the preschool intellectual and developmental classroom. I have always enjoyed being around individuals with special needs and I am willing to learn how to meet your child’s specific needs.
I love children and have always loved being around them. I don’t really like technology that much so if your concerned your child will spend too much time watching TV or on a tablet you won’t have to be with me. I like taking the kids to the park or playing outside when able to. I like doing things that spark your child’s imagination. I want your children to have fun, feel safe and learn when they are in my care.

Additional services: Meal preparation, Laundry, Light housekeeping, Crafts, and Potty training.
