I’m from Long Island and moved to NYC when I was 18 to go to school for Musical Theater. I started working with children a few years leading up to that. I taught dance at a musical theater camp. I fell in loving with caregiving and teaching immediately. After I went to college I moved to Buffalo, NY where I began working in a daycare center. I was the infant 1 and 2 teacher, but bounced around all of the rooms frequently. When I moved back to New York I decided I wanted to continue my work with children and began teaching at an afterschool program called “Mad Science” as well as looking for nanny/babysitting jobs.
