I found my calling in caring for children when I was 9 years old, after the birth of my very first baby cousin. My mother guided me on how to hold, swaddle, feed, and bathe the baby, but the love and nurture came naturally. By the time my final baby cousin was born, I was an expert in being an extra set of helping hands around the family. As a preschool teacher, my mom also introduced me to working with children in the academic setting. Interacting with children in this environment provided me with valuable insight on another significant aspect of a child’s development.
I started working with children in a more professional capacity as an after school tutor, helping children from elementary school to high school achieve their highest potential of academic excellence. Following this time, I started college at UCSB, and concurrently began my career as a nanny. After my time in Santa Barbara, I moved back to LA and continued my career as a nanny here.
