My name is Karina Rivera. I am a student at El Camino College looking to transfer to California State University Dominguez Hills with the major in Child Development. I currently have 21 Child Development units and have worked at a preschool setting for about two years. I also worked at an after-school program supervising school age children from 2nd grade to 5th grade. I did that for about two years as well. Finally, I babysat for 1 year. There were 4 children. The ages were: 2, 4, 6 and 7 years. I love being around children and I understand the importance of having their needs met. My goal is to have a positive impact in children’s whole development.
