Academically, I have my bachelors and masters in social work. I am also trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCM), CPR, and solution-focused therapy. I have worked with a diverse range of children stemming from infant to young adult, at-risk youth in a clinical setting from one-to-one in home baby sitting.

From my own personal experience, I attended a Montessori School during a major part of my education. Learning in this environment strongly shaped how I engage with the world around me. This style of teaching allowed me to safely be a kid, in which my interests were always fostered and teaching was fully explorative and not stuck at a desk. I believe children of all ages should have their curiosity nurtured, emotions validated, and their voices heard.

Most of my expertise comes from working as a behavior specialist with foster care children in a group-home. It was in this high-intensity environment that I learned how to provide emotional regulation and counseling for adolescents. Additionally, I worked as a teacher aid (pre-k and kindergarten) and as an after school teacher at a private elementary school.

After spending several years in Social Work, I took a break to focus on my other interests. I fell in love with plant medicine and currently have a success herbal tincture business! Right now, I am a barista at a LA coffee and bakery, however am looking to switch back over to child care.
