Hi! My name is Nakya, but you can call me Kya, it’s easier to remember! I have four younger siblings and three dogs, so basically I’m always feeding or cleaning someone, haha. I went to high school at Bishop O’Dowd, during which I worked for two years with the East Oakland Youth Development Center teaching math and language arts for kids aged 5-12, and then I worked for a semester at a Jewish Preschool in Washington, DC during my sophomore year of college. I’m skilled in potty-training, constructive and positive discipline, and tutoring for all ages. In the past 6 years, I have worked with children aged 6 months to 13 years, most recently with a family of 4 kids under 4, and I hope that you’ll find me to be a great fit for your family! I am also fully vaccinated and looking to work with a family that is covid-cautious.
