I started babysitting at the age of 12 when I was “Babysitter First Aid Certified” by the Red Cross and since then have experience as a lifeguard (not currently certified as a lifeguard, but I am “Wilderness First Aid” certified), camp counselor, and nanny! My favorite age is middle schoolers (the age I worked with most as a counselor), and toddlers, although I enjoy babysitting every age. As a nanny I worked for about 4 hours during the week evenings, and made dinner for the two kids (ages 4 and 6), played with them, gave them bath time and brushed teeth, helped put them to bed, and occasionally baked with them. Earlier in the daytime, I love to play outside with kids, do arts and crafts, and play board games. I am also CPR certified.
