Hi! I’m Victoria, a young newlywed living on Long Island with her husband.

I’m a British expat who grew up overseas, mostly in Asia and Australia. I found my way to the US in 2010 for University, and after graduating in 2014, I lived 8+ years in and out of Manhattan. I’m pretty proud of the fact that I’m a naturalized New Yorker and have earned the right to call it my home. I even met my husband here, and we got married in December 2022.

Though I’ve lived in the US for 13 years, I’ve kept my English accent, and previous clients may have let it slip that this might give me an edge in the bedtime story department, with one little gentleman even citing that I sound like Mary Poppins! I’m a big kid at heart, and have pretty good taste in Disney movies (should the need for a recommendation ever arise).

I have a long history of nannying and babysitting, having organically come across jobs through friends-of-friends and personal recommendations. I’ve taken care of infants, toddlers, elementary schoolers, and pre-teens. I can do snacks, dinners, bedtimes, bathtimes, and everything in between. I love pets, and welcome any furry, feathery, or scaly companions you might have.

Even though a sitter is only there for a night at a time, I believe it’s an incredibly important role. You need to make sure that your charges (and their parents) feel safe and confident, and that everybody has a little bit of fun while you’re there.
