I have been with children since I was 4 yrs old. Now you may not believe me but my mother had a in home for 15 yrs I used to be the one who took care of a little baby named Jenna. I fed her changed her diapers and played with her all the time. As I grew older I still continued to help my mother with the kids my mother closed her daycare when I was in 6th grade I am a graduate at Garfield Hts. My moms friend had a little boy named Joey. She the mother didn’t want him so I took care of him from 3 wks old until the county took him at 6 months old. This mother had other children as well they were 15 months and 2.5 yrs of age I have always love kids. My stepsister had a baby to now I have helping take care of my niece. Her name is Bailey. We my mom and I take her every other weekend and keep her. These are some of my experiences with children
This is what I do know and how to do
1. Hold a baby
2. Feedings
3. Diapering which I change a baby every 2 hrs don’t like diaper rashes
4. Bathing
5. Teaching
a. roll over
b. crawling
c. walking
6. Taking temperatures
a. administer medication as needed
