My name is Cristina Garcia.
I am a first grade teacher during the school year and would love to nanny over the summer. I have been teaching for 4 years and have been working in childcare for 10 years. I started my passion during a high school course that specialized working with preschool children. I got my bachelors degree in Elementary Education in 2019 from Illinois State University. While I was a student, I worked at Kindercare for 4 years. My classroom at the time was working with toddlers (age 1-2). We did a lot of sensory games, crafts and motor skills. I currently am teaching first grade. I am CPR certified and can drive for summer activities.
