Hi! I am a mom of a 3 year old toddler. I love working with children. I currently work in a school with kids who are behavioral and also on the spectrum. I started babysitting in high school. My neighbor in HS was a single mom with a young daughter who I got off the school bus and watched after school hours until she came home everyday during the week. This was easy for me because I also took my younger brother and little cousin off the bus after school and watched them as well. Since then Ive always worked in the childcare field even if it wasnt direct It was still a child friendly setting. I like to engage with the kids and Im very patient and neat. I am a boy mom who starts school this year and I try to prepare him for it everyday. I teach him to be independent and to use his words so we communicate well with each other. Although he doesnt always understand the meaning behind things I love seeing his progress over time after allowing him to release his emotions. Although he is an only child he shares well and plays well with others. I pride myself on how I take care of my son and I believe that is why my close friends and coworkers are so comfortable leaving their kids around me.
