Good afternoon my name is Shereen I am 38 yrs. old. I started my childcare journey at the age of 19 by becoming a babysitter. I was looking for an opportunity that would allow me to be in a childcare setting. I worked with children of all ages and with multiple children at the same time. This allowed me to develop my skills and take on more responsibility. At age 23 I had a child who is diagnosed on the autism spectrum at an early age. I then transition from babysitting to become a nanny. Taking care of my child gave me the capability to be compassionate and it builds a different degree of love, compassion and consideration. That journey has allowed me to dive into working with children with multiple personalities, and children with various disabilities. It allowed me to be in the rooms with individuals and parents of different personalities and backgrounds. I have a true passion for working with children.

I am very family oriented, love to work on long term assignments because Im able to grow with the family, experience milestones and be involved in daily activities. I have worked with individual families, daycare families which enables me to be well-rounded in my childcare field. I have experience with twins, and children of all ages. I also have experience with children on the spectrum. I am not a nanny or sitter who likes to be on the phone or watching tv. Instead, I am the nanny/ sitter that doesn’t mind rolling around, playing, having a good time in a fun or educational setting. I also have experience with potty training, feeding, changing, reading, nap time, sleep scheduling, etc. I am patient, caring, punctual, driven, motivated, ambitious, honest, lovable, trustworthy, open to corrections and a different method of doing things, easy to learn and follows directions.
