Hi! My name is Amanda. Im a current daycare teacher moving to Norwalk in January. Looking for a full time nanny or daycare position starting the 3rd or fourth week of January but I can start sooner for the right fit. Ive been working with children since I was 14. Started with date nights and then during my junior and senior year of high school I was with the same family, who I still babysit for on occasion. I have been with many different families since then. I have cared for all age from 3 weeks old-14 years old. I have been trusted with a lot of responsibilities such as, feeding, meal prep, diaper changing, bottlefeeding and washing, dishes, dinner, setting tables, cleaning, baths, bedtime, creating activities indoor and outdoor, and child care of all sorts. In this role I hope to extend my knowledge in childcare and development. I also hope to help the children in my care to learn and explore and to experience the joy of learning and love to learn. I have a car to drive myself but Im not comfortable driving children.
I love working with children. With infants you get to see them explore, experience and discover everything for the first time. You get to see their personalities grow and develop. With toddlers and school age children you get to help teach them school thing and life and social skills. You get to instill the love of learning in the child(ren). I love my field of work so I can create relationships with children and parents and establish a level of trust since the parents are trusting me with their most Important creation in the world. I would love to work with your family and establish a relationship with your child or children and with you teach them to love to learn to love nature to love animals love other people and other children to love everything has to offer for them that is worth loving.
