I became a child care professional as just another job but it became a job that I fell in love with. The different kinds of personalities from the children that I came across are what really made me fall in love with the work. I chose to make infants and toddlers my preferred age group because I adore children at that age. I chose to work with that age group because their innocence is the most refreshing part to experience in a work environment. The parents that I’ve experienced also make the job amazing. They know what they want and don’t want for their children while also making room for compromise. The children bring me laughter and joy and teach me to appreciate life as they do, looking through with new, appreciative eyes. Watching them grow is a wonderful enriching experience and I feel honored to have a hand in their development in life.
